Kosuke Fujishima

Kōsuke Fujishima ( Japanese. 藤 島 康 介 Fujishima Kōsuke ; * July 7, 1964 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese mangaka , which is particularly known by the manga You're Under Arrest! and oh! My Goddess became known.

Before making his debut as a manga artist in 1986 with Making Be Free! in the manga magazine Morning , he worked as an assistant at Tatsuya Egawa . In the same year he released You're Under Arrest! , a manga about the everyday life of two policewomen in Tokyo , in Afternoon magazine . His second great success Oh! He also drew My Goddess for Afternoon from 1988 to April 2014 . The manga is about the problems of a student who has to live with several goddesses. In 2009 Fujishima received the Kōdansha Manga Prize for this series .

In 2008 he started the manga Paradise Residence in the magazine good! Afternoon . This was continued in Afternoon magazine from May 24, 2014 .

Since 1997, Kōsuke Fujishima has drawn the character design for several video games such as Sakura Wars or Tales of Symphonia . His interest in cars and motorcycles is also reflected in his works.

Among others, Yuzo Takada and Hitoshi Ashinano worked as assistants for him.
