Adán Machado (born February 5, 1955 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player and current coach.

Career

Player career

Defensive player Machado played in the 1970s and 1980s for Nacional Montevideo and Racing Club of Avellaneda . For Racing, he played two games in 1980 and scored one goal.

Coaching

Machado was responsible for the Central Español team as coach in 1997 . From 1999 to the end of 2000 he held this position at River Plate Montevideo in the Primera División . In mid-August 2012, SD Aucas signed him as a trainer. He stayed at the Quito club until the end of the year. This was followed by a commitment at Juventud in the first half of 2003 . At the side of Juan Ramón Carrascos he was then assistant coach of the Uruguayan national team . On March 12, 2007, he again took over the training management at Central Español. At the end of the year, however, Machado and the club separated. On March 3, 2008 Miramar Misiones made him responsible for the professional team. This employment ended on May 24, 2010. From February 8, 2011 to March 7 of that year, Durazno FC in the Segunda División was his employer.
