Adílson Ferreira de Souza , called Popo , (born September 1, 1978 in Andradina , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

The 1.78 meter tall striker began his career in 1996 at Mogi Mirim EC . It followed in 1997 a station with the Montevideo Wanderers . In the 1997/98 season he played six league games at SC Salgueiros . In 1999 he was in the ranks of the Club America . In 2000 and 2001, Bandeirante EC is listed as his employer. In 2003 he played for Araçatuba . In 2004 he is said to have completed a league game without a personal goal for Coritiba FC . In 2004 he also worked for Adap Galo Maringá . This was followed by positions at Busan IPark from 2005 to 2006 and at Gyeongnam FC in South Korea in 2007 . At Kashiwa Reysol he was under contract at least in 2008 and 2009. In the first year he scored four league goals, while the 2009 statistics show him four goals scored in 25 appearances in the J1 League . At Vissel Kobe , he met 16 times in 61 first division appearances in the opposing goal in 2010 and 2011. In 2012 he ran 21 times (three goals) for Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan's top division. 2013 followed 40 second division appearances and 16 hits during a second station at Vissel Kobe. From February 2014 to the end of the year, he played 29 league games for Júbilo Iwata and scored six goals in the J2 League . Since the beginning of 2015 he has been under contract with Associação Portuguesa de Desportos in Brazil and has played nine league games so far (as of February 16, 2016). He didn't score a goal.
