Ada , actually Michaela Dippel , is a German minimal house and pop musician from Cologne .

Career

In 2002 Ada made her first appearance as a singer in the piece Livedriver by German producer Metope , who is also the label boss of Areal Records . A few months later they released their first single, Blindhouse / Luckycharm . More singles and sampler contributions followed until 2004 when Areal Records released the debut album Blondie . More singles and contributions followed. In 2011, the album Meine Zarten Pfoten was released on Pampa Records .

Ada combines minimal electronics with scattered female vocal parts. The music magazine Intro writes of a "perfect, emotionally rousing symbiosis" ( Arno Raffeiner in Intro 122 ). De: Bug called the debut single Blindhouse / Lucky Charm “one of those records that you could call your favorite record every day”. In 2004 Ada won the “Best Female Artist” election in the same magazine.
