Adam Cichon (born October 20, 1975 in Loben , Poland ) is a former German football player of Polish origin.

Club career

In 1998 he moved from the amateur team of 1. FC Köln to local rivals SC Fortuna Köln , where he played in the 2nd Bundesliga and regional league until 2003 . There he played a total of 50 games and scored 5 goals. In 2003 he moved to Poland to Widzew Łódź , where he played for a year and a half and was coached by ex Poland national coach Franciszek Smuda, among others. From 2004 to 2006 he was a regular at Polonia Warsaw under contract, where he was signed by Jerzy Engel. In total, Adam Cichon played 77 games in the Polish Ekstraklasa and scored 8 goals. In the 2006/2007 season he was then without a contract.

In 2007 he switched to the Austrian second division club SV Bad Aussee , with whom he was relegated, but was one of the few top performers in an overall weak team. From 2008 to 2010 he also played two seasons as a top performer for the Austrian second division club FC Gratkorn . In the second division of Austria he played 84 times and scored 14 goals. On June 30, 2010 he ended his professional career.
