Adam Clark Curry (born September 3, 1964 in Arlington County , Virginia ) is an American-Dutch radio host.

In the 1970s he made his first experiences in the radio business. At the beginning of the 1980s, Curry (at that time still under the pseudonym John Holden) moderated English-language programs on illegal radio stations in the Amsterdam region. a. at Radio Picasso and Radio Decibel. He became known with the television program CountDown , which he presented for the first time in 1984 at the age of 19 on Dutch television (on Veronica ) and which was ultimately broadcast in 22 countries. On Dutch radio he introduced the ZMorningZoo concept from his future employer Z100, but not as a morning show, but as a Friday evening show, which he hosted together with his friend and colleague Jeroen van Inkel ("Curry & Van Inkel"). During this time Curry also worked for the pan-European music channel Music Box . In 1987 Curry began working for the music network MTV in the United States. He also moderated the popular radio station WHTZ (Z-100) in New York.

After his radio and TV career, Adam Curry studied acting and later founded On Ramp Inc., an internet startup that he sold two years later.

He is considered a key figure in the development of podcasting and the mtv.com website.

Curry lives in Austin, Texas, and was married to the Dutch actress and artist Micky Hoogendijk (* 1970) from 2012 to 2015. Until 2009 he was married to the Dutch singer Patricia Paay (* 1949), with whom he has a daughter (Christina, * 1990).
