Adam Kocian (born April 1, 1995 in Andernach ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Adam Kocian is the son of the Slovak volleyball player Milan Kocian ; his brother Tomas is also a professional in this sport. He was born in Germany, but returned home with his mother after his parents divorced. He started his career at VKP Bratislava . In 2011 the setter returned to Germany and played at the volleyball boarding school in Frankfurt in the second division north. In the same year he was appointed to the German U18 national team. In 2013 Kocian moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga VSG Coburg / Grub . In 2015 he was signed by the SVG Lüneburg . With the North Germans he achieved in the 2015/16 season inDVV-Pokal and the semi-finals in the Bundesliga playoffs . In 2018, Kocian made his debut in the German national team and then played one season with Bundesliga club United Volleys Frankfurt .
