The Adam M-309 aircraft is a twin-engine prototype for a business jet that was developed and manufactured by Scaled Composites in a low-wing design. The first flight of the machine took place on March 21, 2000 .

construction

The two motors are mounted in front of and behind the cell . The rudder unit is double and is supported by booms. The vertical stabilizers are connected to one another by the horizontal stabilizer. The machine has a pressurized cabin as well as a retractable chassis and is largely made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic . The further developed and enlarged Adam A500 is based on this aircraft .
