Adam Strzelczyk
Adam Strzelczyk (born August 1, 1978 in Gdynia ) is a neurologist and epileptologist .
Life
After obtaining the general university entrance qualification at the Johanneum zu Lübeck in 1998 and doing community service at the Clinic for Radiation Therapy and Nuclear Medicine at the Medical University of Lübeck from 1998 to 1999, Strzelczyk studied human medicine in Heidelberg and London from 1999 to 2006 . After his time as a medical assistant, he completed his specialist training at the clinics for neurology and psychiatry at the Marburg location of the University Clinic Gießen and Marburg . From 2012 he was senior physician in the epileptology department (with Felix Rosenow) of the neurology department of the University Hospital Marburg , in 2014 he received his habilitation in neurology and was appointed private lecturer , and in 2016 he became an adjunct professor.
At the same time, he acquired the additional qualifications in geriatrics (2014) and neurological intensive medicine (2015) and completed a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA) degree (also in 2015).
In 2015, he joined Rosenow as senior physician at the newly founded Epilepsy Center Frankfurt Rhein-Main and senior physician at the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Frankfurt am Main .
Strzelczyk is married and has two daughters.

Strzelczyk is (co-) author of around 80 Pubmed-listed publications in specialist journals or books.
Since 2017 Strzelczyk has been editor of the “Zeitschrift für Epileptologie” of the German Society for Epileptology (DGfE) together with Friedhelm C. Schmitt .
Strzelczyk has been secretary of the working group for pre-surgical diagnostics and operative epilepsy therapy since 2017
