Adele Watson
Adele Watson (born January 3, 1890 in Minnesota , † March 27, 1933 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress.
Life
The 1.70 meter tall actress has appeared in around 30 films since the silent film era, at the latest since 1922, generally in supporting roles. Some of her film roles include her appearances as Mrs. Doyle in the James Cagney film The Public Enemy (1931, by director William A. Wellman ), as well as Annie in the Laurel and Hardy sound film comedy The Devil Brothers . Often she embodied working class women in difficult situations.
Adele Watson died in 1933, only 43 years old, of bilateral pneumonia.
