Adelheid Netoliczka-Baldershofen

Adelheid Netoliczka-Baldershofen (until 1919 Netoliczka von Baldershofen ; born April 23, 1875 in Deutschlandsberg , Styria , † December 8, 1958 in Graz ) was an Austrian classical philologist , archaeologist and librarian .

Netoliczka graduated from the girls' college in Graz in 1893 and passed the matriculation examination in 1903. She then studied archeology and classical philology at the University of Graz , where she received her doctorate in 1910 with Hans Schrader and Heinrich Schenkl with a dissertation on studies of Greek costume . In 1917 she entered the court library in Vienna. In 1921 she moved to the University Library in Graz , where she worked until her retirement in 1946. Among other things, she published three extensive articles in Paulys Realenzyklopädie and two articles in the annual journals of the Austrian Archaeological Institute in Vienna ( ÖJh).
