Adeltrudis , also Adeltrude († February 25th around 696 ) was a Catholic saint and abbess of the Maubeuge monastery in northern France.

Adeltrudis was born as the daughter of the very pious parents Vinzenz Maldegar and Waltraud von Mons , who, like their three siblings Landricus , Medelberta , and Dentelin , are venerated as saints. As a young girl, Adeltrudis was brought to her aunt Adelgundis in the monastery of Maubeuge, who had founded this monastery. Adeltrudis was brought up in the monastery and from 684 she succeeded her aunt as abbess of the monastery. Adeltrudis ran the monastery until her death around 696. According to legend, she is said to have appeared several times. Among other things, she is said to have been comforted by Christ during a thunderstorm and, according to tradition, St. Peter is said to have exhorted her to persist.

The feast day of St. Adeltrudis is February 25th. In art she is represented as an abbess with a staff. A canon of Maubeuge wrote a vita on Adeltrudis in the 8th century.
