action

The hotelier Oskar Scherzinger, who also runs the affiliated shipping company, rules the Königssee. Only the fishing owner Daxltoni, who claims the rights to the shipping for himself, is a thorn in his side.

It was then that Scherzinger's son Gerhard met the pretty Liesel incognito, a niece of Daxltonis who had traveled there. According to his father's wish, Gerhard should marry Maria, the daughter of the bus operator Köstler. But Maria is already in love with the musician Charly.

After all, Gerhard can no longer hide his identity as Scherzinger's son from Liesel. The reluctant Scherzinger only becomes more indulgent when a document of Daxltoni's maritime rights emerges.

In the end, nothing stands in the way of Liesel and Gerhard, Maria and Charly's happiness. And two more people have found each other, Oskar Scherzinger and Maria's mother are also married.

"A homeland pleasure game with numerous hits, an imposition because of the miserable actors and a sloppy script."

Manfred Hobsch from Filmblätter, on the other hand, was able to gain a lot from the film:

"Above all, Carl Möhner and Germaine Damar have rarely been seen so relaxed, cheerful and thrilling ... an amusing film."
