Stanislav Ledinek
Stanislav Ledinek (born June 26, 1920 in St. Lorenzen , Yugoslavia (today: Lovrenc na Pohorju , Slovenia ), † March 30, 1969 in Istanbul , Turkey ) was an actor and voice actor .
Life
After the Second World War, Stanislav, who was also called Stanislaus , came to Germany. In Detmold , he began as an actor at the State Theater . He was then discovered in the revived film industry as a voice actor and dubbed actors with foreign accents: Mexicans, Spaniards, Southern and Eastern Europeans and, above all, Russians, he gave the appropriate accent in Hollywood films. One of his leading synchronizing roles was the Cretan bon vivant Alexis in the film Alexis Sorba . There he spoke the German voice of Anthony Quinn , which he also dubbed in Daring Opponents . He also lent his voice to Lee Marvin ( City in Fear ), Akim Tamiroff ( Topkapi ) or Saro Urzì ( The Great Battle of Don Camillo ). He had numerous supporting roles in German films.
Ledinek died in Istanbul in 1969 while filming a film. His grave is in Istanbul , probably in the foreigners cemetery in Feriköy .
