Dentelin
The hl. Dentelin is a 7th century Catholic saint .
Dentelin was the son of Waltraud von Mons and the Count of Hainaut , Vinzenz Madelgarius, a court official of the Merovingian King Dagobert I. He died at the age of seven and was then venerated like the members of his family throughout Hainaut. He was buried in Soignies , later his bones were transferred to the collegiate church in Rees am Rhein, founded in 1040 . Until the early modern times he was venerated as the patron saint of the monastery and the city of Rees, and his feast day, July 14, was celebrated with great solemnity.
Remembrance day
His feast day is July 14th, but it is sometimes also celebrated on March 16th .
