Ademir Santos ( Japanese 三 渡 洲 ア デ ミ ー ル , Santos Ademir ; born March 28, 1968 in Bahia ) is a former Japanese soccer player with Brazilian roots.

Career

Santos learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daiichi High School . He signed his first contract with Yamaha Motors in 1987 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1987/88 . In 1989 he reached the final of the JSL Cup and the Imperial Cup . For the club, he completed 30 first division games. In 1992 he switched to Shimizu S-Pulse . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1992 and 1993 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . Then in September 1995 Santos obtained the Japanese citizenship . In 1996 he won the J.League Cup with the club. For the club he completed 11 first division games. At the end of 1996 he ended his career as a football player.
