The Eagle Monument ( English Eagle Monument ) is a war memorial in Keetmanshoop in the RegionKaras region in Namibia . This has been a national monument of Namibia since August 1st, 1967 .
A bronze eagle can be seen on the top of the obelisk , which was erected after 1907 . The memorial commemorates the fallen of the Schutztruppe during the uprisings of 1887, 1903 and 1906 to 1907.
