Admiralty Island (English for "Admiralty Island", Inuktitut Qikiqtagafaaluk ) is an uninhabited, irregularly shaped Arctic island in the Kitikmeot region of the Canadian territory of Nunavut . It is located in Victoria Strait , south of the Collinson Peninsula of Victoria Island and east of Albert Edward Bay . The area of the island is 171 km², according to other sources 173.6 km².
