Adolf Giesen (born April 23, 1902 in Oppum , † March 2, 1945 in Lank-Latum ) was a German writer .

Life

Adolf Giesen a completed study at the University of Cologne and received his doctorate there in 1929 with a work over the Cologne romantics Eberhard von Groote for Doctor of Philosophy . From 1933 he published the historical Krefeld Archive series . Giesen fell in the final phase of the Second World War in fighting on the Lower Rhine . Adolf Giesen's literary work consists mainly of poems .
