Adolf Hauser

Adolf Hauser (born April 11, 1811 in Leuggern , † January 25, 1862 in Zurzach ) was a Swiss politician . From 1856 to 1860 he was a member of the National Council.

biography

The son of a doctor was admitted to the bar in 1837 while studying law and practiced as a lawyer in Zurzach . Hauser was a substitute judge at the higher court of the canton of Aargau , but turned down an election as chief judge several times. As a representative of the radical liberals , he was elected to the Aargau Grand Council in 1841 . He belonged to this until 1846 and again from 1852 to 1861. In a by-election in September 1856, Hauser entered the National Council and represented the constituency of Aargau-Nord . In 1860 he waived re-election.
