Adolf Richner

Adolf Richner (born June 12, 1908 in Gränichen ; † May 4, 1982 in Aarau , entitled to live in Gränichen) was a Swiss politician (SP) .

biography

Adolf Richner was born on June 12, 1908 as the son of the carpenter and smallholder Friedrich Richner and Anna Maria née Müller in Gränichen. From 1924 to 1928 Richner attended the teachers' seminar in Wettingen , after which he worked as a teacher in Oftringen until 1955 . Adolf Richner, who married Elsa, who was born in 1937, died on May 4, 1982 in Aarau, just before he was 74 years old.

Political career

The SP politician Adolf Richner was initially a member of the Aargau Great Council from 1933 to 1955 , where he served as an education council from 1950 to 1955 and which he chaired from 1954 to 1955. He was then represented on the government council from 1955 to 1969 , which he chaired in 1957/58, 1963/64 and 1967/68 as Landammann .

During his tenure, Adolf Richner headed the dual management of Home Affairs and Health. Richner focused on expanding social services, including laying the foundations for a second Aargau canton hospital in Baden and organizing the community with the introduction of residents' councils .
