Adolfas Varanauskas (born February 4, 1934 in Paliepis , Kaišiadorys Rajongemeinde , † January 12, 2007 in Kaunas ) was a Lithuanian shot putter who started for the Soviet Union .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was eighth with 18.41 m.
In 1963 he became Soviet champion. He set his personal best of 18.85 m on July 5, 1964 in Moscow .
In 1959 and 1963 he was named Lithuania's Sportsman of the Year .
