Zsigmond Nagy

Zsigmond Nagy (born July 27, 1937 in Csengőd , Bács-Kiskun County , † March 1, 2010 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian shot putter .

In 1959 he won silver at the Universiade , and in 1960 he came 14th at the Olympic Games in Rome .

A bronze medal at the Universiade in 1961 was followed by a fifth place at the European Athletics Championships in 1962 in Belgrade.

In 1963 he won the Universiade, and in 1964 he was fifth in the Olympic Games in Tokyo .

In 1961 and 1962 he was Hungarian champion. He set his personal best of 19.16 m on July 25, 1962 in Athens .
