Adrián Daniel Calello (born May 14, 1987 in Quilmes , Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player who is currently under contract with Catania Calcio .
Career
Calello mostly plays in the position of defensive midfielder. He has the number "5" on his back. Since he has Italian roots, he has not only Argentinian but also Italian citizenship. He began his career with the Argentine first division club CA Independiente from Buenos Aires , where he played 50 league games in his three professional years. On December 16, 2008, his move to Europe was officially announced. At Dinamo Zagreb Calello signed a five-and-a-half year contract from January 1, 2009. The transfer fee was 2.2 million euros. After four years in the Croatian league and three championships with Dinamo, he moved to AC Siena in the Italian Serie A in January 2013 .
