Robert Adrian Aciobăniţei (born August 24, 1997 in Fălticeni ) is a Romanian national volleyball player .

Career

Aciobăniței accompanied his father Cezar to training in Fălticeni and discovered his interest in volleyball there. In 2012, he played for CVM Tomis Constana for the first time in the first division at the age of fourteen . The outside attacker also played with the club in the volleyball Champions League . At the age of 17 he made his debut in the Romanian national team . In 2015 Aciobăniței was signed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen . With Friedrichshafen he reached the playoff final in the 2015/16 Bundesliga season , which his team lost to the Berlin Recycling Volleys . He then moved to league rivals United Volleys Rhein-Main . In 2018 Aciobăniței returned to VfB Friedrichshafen. With Friedrichshafen he was DVV cup winner and German runner-up . He then moved to the French club AS Cannes Volley-Ball
