Adrian Sieber (composer)

Adrian Sieber (* 1975 ) is a German composer and musician.

Adrian Sieber studied jazz and classical guitar at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich with Peter O'Mara and Barbara Polasek and then began his composition studies with Heinz Winbeck at the University of Music Würzburg , which he graduated with a master class diploma in May 2009.

In recent years, solo and chamber music works by Adrian Sieber have been performed in numerous cities in Germany and Austria and have been recorded and broadcast several times by radio stations (including BR, SWR, WDR, ORF). Adrian Sieber also drew attention to himself through two opera productions. In January 2006, he was awarded 2nd prize at the Berlin Opera Prize of the Neukölln Opera for his short opera "Tod eines Schneider" . In 2009 his opera "Vertigo" was premiered.

Adrian Sieber currently works mainly as a composer for theater and film. Since the season 2010–2011 he is u. a. Has worked as a composer and musical director for several productions at the Augsburg Theater . Adrian Sieber also wrote the music for various films, such as B. for foreign bodies - almost a road movie , Asternauts , Lost Place .

Adrian Sieber also teaches aural training, composition and arrangement at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg .
