Adrianus "Adrie" Ambrosius Cornelis van Kraay (born August 1, 1953 in Eindhoven ; different spelling van Kraaij ) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

From 1971 to 1982 Adrie van Kraay played for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie . In 1982 he moved to THOR Waterschei in Belgium for two years and ended his professional career in 1985 with FC Basel in Switzerland.

Between 1975 and 1979, Van Kraay played 17 international matches for the Dutch national team . He was in the Dutch squad at the 1976 European Championship and the 1978 World Cup .

With PSV Eindhoven he was Dutch champion (1975, 1976, 1978), cup winner (1974, 1976) and UEFA Cup winner (1978).

With the Dutch national team, he was third in the European Championship in 1976 and vice world champion in 1978.
