Adrien Sibomana

Adrien Sibomana (born September 4, 1953 in Bukeye, Muramvya ) was the Prime Minister of Burundi from October 19, 1988 to July 10, 1993.

Sibomana was a member of the Union for National Progress (UPRONA). He is an ethnic Hutu and was appointed by Tutsi President Pierre Buyoya in an unsuccessful attempt to appease Hutu by filling some high government posts. Sibomana was the first Burundian Prime Minister since 1978, when the post was abolished.
