Adsella

Adsella was an alcoholic from skimmed milk obtained carbonated drink, also known as champagne known -milk.

The drink was made from pasteurized cow's milk. It was an invention owned by Adsella Vertriebsgesellschaft GmbH in Berlin, which also licensed the manufacturing process for other dairies. The drink with a light lemon flavor and in other flavors was sold very cheaply in Berlin since the spring of 1902.

The name Adsella can be understood as the imperative of the Latin verb adsellare , which means something like “lead off!”, As a shortening of the ad sella fjuniliarica “go to the toilet”. But this does not correspond to its effect and is not the interpretation of its namesake.

It is a germ-free and alcohol-free drink made from fresh cow's milk, which consists of 89.06 to 89.20% water, 0.24 to 0.29% fat , 1.47 to 2.49% protein , 5, 74 to 6.16% lactose , 1.52 to 2.30% sucrose and 0.76 to 0.82% ash.
