The Adval Tech Holding AG , headquartered in Niederwangen (municipality Köniz in Bern ) is an internationally active Swiss industrial company that specializes in the production of components, assemblies and modules in the areas of technology stamping and forming ( metal ) and injection molding ( plastic ) specializes. Adval Tech operates nine production plants in eight countries (Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Mexico, Brazil, USA, China and Malaysia). The company is listed on the Swiss stock exchange SIX Swiss Exchange listed .

history

The company was founded in 1924 by Fritz Styner and Rudolf Bienz as a small machine shop in Bümpliz ( Bern ) as a general partnership Styner + Bienz founded. In 1942 it was converted into a stock corporation .

In 1963, Styner + Bienz moved its headquarters to Niederwangen and employs around 200 people in the new factory building. With the takeover of the 73 employees at AWM Muri, Styner + Bienz moved into the field of plastic injection molding technology.

As part of a strategic realignment, the company was renamed Adval Tech in 1997 and floated on the stock exchange in 1998 with an IPO . As a result, the company expanded through the establishment of various subsidiaries and company takeovers abroad.

In 2016, the mold making division Foboha was sold to the Barnes Group . In the same year Adval Tech took over Fischer IMF GmbH in Endingen, Germany, which specializes in metal components for the automotive industry.
