The Aeródromo de Santa Cilia de Jaca is an airfield in the Spanish municipality of Santa Cilia de Jaca in the province of Huesca .
Opened in 1998, the general aviation aerodrome (also known as Aeródromo de Santa Cilia-Los Pirineos ) with an area of around 390,000 m² is operated by the General Directorate for Tourism of the Government of Aragon (Dirección General de Turismo de la Diputación General de Aragón) .
Due to its proximity to the approximately 430 km long mountain range of the Pyrenees, it is the most important sports airfield in the north of the province of Huesca and a preferred airfield for glider pilots. Santa Cilia is one of the national centers for elite competitions and is the annual venue of the Pyrenees Cup, which is organized by the FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale).
In addition to the two slopes, there are also hangars, a petrol station, a clubhouse with a restaurant, parking spaces and a campsite on the site. The flight school with its own training rooms is operated by Aeronautica de los Pirineos SA, which also coordinates glider operations.
