Afroedura is a genus of scale reptiles from the gecko family(Gekkonidae).

Larger species of this genus can reach a total length of up to 14 cm. The animals are mostly gray or brown in color, sometimes with dark transverse bands. Since the adhesive lamellae on the feet show a great similarity with those of the Australian genus Oedura , the species of the genus Afroedura were previously classified in this genus.
