Agapeta Hamana is a butterfly ( moth ) from the family of Winder (Tortricidae).
features
The moths have a wingspan of 15 to 23 millimeters and are light to sulfur yellow in color. There is a rust-colored spot in front of the middle of the wing , as well as a rust-colored oblique stripe that extends to the middle of the wing, but can occasionally be extended to the edge of the wing. The hind wings are dark gray.

Way of life
The polyphagous caterpillars of Agapeta hamana live in the ground and feed on the roots of thistles ( Carduus ), thistles ( Cirsium ), dyer's notch ( Serratula tinctoria ) and clover ( Trifolium ). The caterpillars pupate in a white silk cocoon in the ground.
