Agathe Karrer (born July 26, 1902 , † July 20, 1988 ) was a German athlete who was successful as a sprinter in the late 1920s .
Life
Career
In 1928, 1929 and 1930 she was German champion over 4 x 100 meters .
Together with Rosa Kellner , Luise Holzer and Lisa Gelius , their teammates from TSV Munich 1860 , Karrer won the 3rd Women's World Games in Prague in 49.9 seconds. the gold medal and also set three world records:
- 49.8 s on July 15, 1928 in Berlin
- 49.0 s on July 21, 1929 in Frankfurt
- 48.8 s on July 20, 1930 in Nuremberg .
