Aglaia ( Greek Ἀγλαΐα Aglaḯa , German 'shine, splendor' , next to it also Καλή Kalé , German 'the good' ) is one of the Charites in Greek mythology .

Together with Euphrosyne and Thaleia , Aglaia belongs to the three Charites (Graces), the Greek goddesses of grace . Zeus and Eurynomials are usually mentioned as their parents . Aglaia was the youngest of them. According to the Greek poet Hesiod , she was the wife of Hephaestus (traditionally he was considered the husband of Aphrodite ).
