Agnes Kaps

Agnes Kaps , married Agnes Kaps-Leyrer (born November 24, 1856 in Hamburg , † after 1874) was a German singer .

Life

Kaps was known and loved as an opera soubrette, engaged in Berlin, Nuremberg and Mainz, etc. and went off the stage entirely in 1874.

Her father was Amandus Kaps , her siblings Richard Kaps and Robert Kaps , she was married to her colleague Rudolf Leyrer .
