Agostino Lanfranchi (born June 24, 1892 in Palazzolo sull'Oglio , province of Brescia , † February 15, 1963 ) was an Italian skeleton pilot and bobsleigh driver .

Agostino Lanfranchi competed in skeleton and bobsleigh between the late 1920s and early 1940s. In 1928 he took part in the 1928 Olympic Games in St. Moritz for the first time and with fourth place just missed a medal in the first skeleton competition in Olympic history. Four years later , he took part in the Lake Placid Games as a bobsleigh driver . In the two-man bobsleigh with his brother Gaetano Lanfranchi he reached eighth place, in the four- man bobsleigh with Gaetano, Italo Cassini and Count Teofilo Rossi di Montelera he finished fifth. Later he took part in motorboat competitions and helped establish the competitions in Venice and Turin .

Lanfranchi was part of a family of clothing manufacturers. He designed buttons and belt buckles for it himself.
