The village of Agras ( Greek Άγρας ( m. Sg. )) Is located in the west of the Greek region of Central Macedonia about 4 km west of the city center of Edessa , to whose municipality it belongs.

To the west of the village are the ruins of Filokastro (Φιλόκαστρο), a Roman sentinel on the Via Egnatia .

The village was named by Vladovo (Βλάδοβο) after Tellos Agras in 1926 .

The Greek energy supplier DEI (ΔΕΗ) has been operating a hydropower plant at Agras since 1956 .
