from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to tradition, Agrippa Furius Fusus was a Roman consul in 446 BC. Together with Titus Quinctius Capitolinus Barbatus , who held the consulate for the fourth time.

Agrippa Furius is mentioned in the tradition with Livius and Diodorus without cognomen .

In 446 Rome is said to have launched a successful campaign against the Volscians . This campaign is broadly embellished with Livy. Furius is said to have subordinated himself to his more experienced colleague Titus Quinctius and to have shown particular bravery in battle. The decorations of Livy must be regarded as unhistorical.
