agroXML

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

agroXML is an XML- based data exchange language for the agricultural sector.
The language was developed by the KTBL in cooperation with Claas , Agro-Sat, HELM-Software, the Information System Integrated Plant Production (ISIP) e. V., John Deere and FarmFacts GmbH. It represents an attempt, similar to ISOBUS, to establish a standard for communication between agricultural devices.

With agroXML, problem-free data communication along the production and supply chain and with the agricultural administration can be made possible without farmers or other users having to process data redundantly . The aim of agroXML is to be able to use the collected data for various purposes and to be able to make it available to the various partners in agriculture.
