The Ahandale Monastery or Bongtag Gompa Gedan Shedrub Namgyel Ling ( Tib. Bong stag dgon pa dge ldan bshad sgrub rnam rgyal gling ) is a Gelugpa Monastery in the district of Ulan in the northeast of the Autonomous District Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan in the Chinese province of Qinghai . It lies at the foot of the Ahandale Shan阿 汗 达勒 山 in the eastern part of the Qaidam Basin . The monastery was founded in 1812 by the 3rd Ziyuhu Rinpoche from Ragya Monastery .
