Haixi
The Haixi Autonomous District of the Mongols and Tibetans ( Mongolian :ᠬᠠᠶᠢᠰᠢ ᠶᠢᠨ ᠮᠣᠩᠭᠣᠯ ᠲᠥᠪᠡᠳ ᠦᠨᠳᠦᠰᠦᠲᠡᠨ ᠦ ᠥᠪᠡᠷᠲᠡᠭᠡᠨ ᠵᠠᠰᠠᠬᠤ ᠵᠧᠦ, in the official transcription Hayixi-yin Mônggôl Tubod undusuten-u oberdegen jasahû jeu ; Tibetan མཚོ་ ནུབ་ སོག་ རིགས་ ཆ་ བོད་ རིགས་ རང་སྐྱོང་ ཁུལ་ , Wylie transliteration : Mtsho-nub Sog-rigs dang Bod-rigs rang-skyong-khul ; Chinese 海西 蒙古族 藏族 自治州 , Pinyin Hǎixī Měnggǔzú Zàngzú Zìzhìzhōu ) is located in the northwest and southwest of the Chinese province of Qinghai and is part of the Tibetan cultural region of Amdo .
The capital and seat of the district administration of Haixi is the city of Delhi (德令哈 市Delingha Shi ). Haixi has an area of 325,785 km² (corresponds to more than 91% of the total area of Germany). The two cities of Golmud ( Ge'ermu Shi ) and Delhi , as well as the three districts of Têmqên , Ulan and Dulan, are subordinate to the autonomous district .
In the 2010 census, Haixi had 489,338 inhabitants (population density: 1.70 inh / km²).
Administrative structure
The Haixi Autonomous District of the Mongols and Tibetans is made up of three urban districts, three districts and two "administrative committees". These are:
- City of Delhi - 德令哈 市 Délìnghā Shì ;
- City of Golmud - 格尔木 市 Gé'ěrmù Shì ;
- City of Mangnai - 茫崖 市 Mángyá Shì ;

- Administrative Committee Da Qaidam - 大 柴 旦 行政 委员会 Dàcháidàn Xíngzhèng Wěiyuánhuì .
