Henan of the Mongols ( 河南 蒙古族 自治县 , Hénán Ménggǔzú zìzhìxiàn ) is a Chinese autonomous region in the south of the Tibetan Huangnan Autonomous District in the Qinghai Province . Its administrative seat ("capital") is the large municipality of Yêgainnyin. Henan has an area of ​​6,250 km² (according to own information 6,997.45 km²) and about 30,000 inhabitants (2004). The Mongols, who make up the overwhelming majority of the population, do not speak Mongolian, with a few exceptions, only Tibetan . The most important branch of the economy in the district is the livestock industry, e.g. T. nomadic or semi-nomadic.

Administrative structure

Henan consists of a large municipality and five municipalities:

  • Large community Yêgainnyin (优 干 宁 镇Youganning zhen ), in the north of Henan, 1,315.35 km², approx. 8,000 inhabitants, consists of nine pastoral committees (牧 委会);
  • Community Sêrlung (赛尔龙乡Sai'erlong xiāng ), to the east of Henan, 1,036 square kilometers, about 4,000 residents, consists of five shepherds Committee;
  • Community Nyimta (宁木特乡Ningmute xiāng ), to the west of Henan, 2090.6 square kilometers, about 8,000 residents, consists of eleven shepherds Committee;
  • Toyêma municipality (托叶 玛 乡Tuoyema xiāng ), in the center of Henan, 856.1 km², approx. 4,000 inhabitants, consists of six village committees (村委会);
  • Community Dosum (多松乡Duosong xiāng ), in southwestern Henan, 577.9 square kilometers, about 3,000 residents, consists of three shepherds Committee;
  • Community Kosag (柯生乡Kesheng xiāng ) square kilometers in southeastern Henan, 1121.5, about 3,000 residents, consists of four shepherds Committee.
