The Mongolian Autonomous Okrug Hoboksar ( Chinese  和 布克赛尔 蒙古 自治县 , Pinyin Hébùkèsài'ěr Měnggǔ Zìzhìxiàn ; Uighur قوبۇقسار موڭغۇل ئاپتونوم ناھىيىسى, Ⱪobuⱪsar Mongƣul Aptonom Naⱨiyisi ; Kazakh قوبىقسارى موڭعۇل اۆتونوميالى اۋدانى, Qobıqsarı Moñğul Avtonomyalı Awdanı ; Mongolian ᠬᠣᠪᠣᠭᠰᠠᠶᠢᠷ ᠮᠣᠩᠭᠣᠯ ᠥᠪᠡᠷᠲᠡᠭᠡᠨ ᠵᠠᠰᠠᠬᠤ ᠰᠢᠶᠠᠨ) is an autonomous district of Mongols in the Tacheng administrative district , which in turn belongs to the Kazakh Ili Autonomous District in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . The main town of Hoboksar is the municipality of Hoboksar (和 布克赛尔 镇). In 1999 Hoboksar County had 50,942 residents.
