Andreas Martens
Andreas Martens alias Andreas (born January 3, 1951 in Weißenfels ) is a German comic artist .
Career
He began studying art at the Düsseldorf Art Academy , but after three years he moved to the Saint-Luc Institute in Brussels . At the Académie de Saint-Gilles he attended comic courses from Eddy Paape , to whom he was able to assist in Luc Orient , Udolfo and Carol Détective . His first published comic, Schizo , appeared in the anthology Le 9ième Rêve in 1978 .
His comics are narrative and atmospheric influenced by the works of HP Lovecraft . While drawing on his style reminds Wood engraving - Illustrations of the 19th century.
Andreas lives with his family in France .
