Aidan Connolly (born August 15, 1995 in Dundee ) is a Scottish football player who plays for Dunfermline Athletic .

Career

Aidan Connolly was born in Dundee as the son of former professional soccer player Paddy Connolly . During this time his father played for Dundee United . Aidan Connolly attended Williamwood High School in Clarkston . In 2011 Connolly made his professional debut as a 17-year-old in the jersey of FC Queen's Park against Stirling Albion . By the end of the season, the offensive player had scored six goals in 23 games. After a season he moved with Andrew Robertson from the Spiders in Glasgow to Dundee United. After his engagement, he was loaned to Brechin City in September 2013 , for whom Connolly played four times in League One . After his return he played for United for the first time in the league game against Motherwell FC in February 2014 .

Aidan Connolly played once in both the Scottish U-16 and U-19 teams in 2010 and 2013 .
