Aidas Gedvilas

Aidas Gedvilas (born June 9, 1966 in Šiauliai ) is a Lithuanian social liberal politician and businessman .

Life

In 1985 Aidas Gedvilas graduated from the Politechnikum Šiauliai , from 1985 to 1987 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1987 to 1992 he studied at the Kauno politechnikos institutas and became an engineer. In 1995 he founded the company UAB "Aidma" and was director and owner. In 1997 he founded UAB "Digikomas" and was director. From 2004 to 2005 he was a member of the Seimas and in 2005 Lithuanian Vice Minister for Transport. From 2000 to 2003 he was a member of the Šiauliai Municipality Council .

He is a member of Darbo partija and Lietuvos verslo darbdavių konfederacija , board member. He was a member of Naujoji Sąjunga .
