Viktor Antonovich Avdyushko

Viktor Antonowitsch Avdjuschko ( Russian Виктор Антонович Авдюшко ; born January 11, 1925 in Moscow , † November 19, 1975 ibid) was a Soviet actor .

Life

Avdyushko began studying at the Moscow State Aviation Institute , but soon turned to film. Until 1949 he studied with Juli Raisman at the Gerasimow Institute for Cinematography . He then became an actor with Mosfilm . Avdjuschko made his screen debut in 1948 in Sergei Gerasimov's The Young Guard and experienced his international breakthrough as an actor in 1961 in Mir vchodjashschemu , who was nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival . In the film he was seen as a soldier Jamschtschikow. As a result, Avdyushko also appeared in international productions, including in the DEFA film Naked Among Wolves and in the Hungarian production Stars on the Hats by Miklós Jancsós .

Avdyushko died in 1975 of complications from pneumonia which he contracted while filming. He was buried in the Wagankowoer cemetery .
