Aidas Giniotis (born November 17, 1964 in Šiauliai ) is a Lithuanian actor, director and theater teacher.

Life.

In 1986, he graduated as an actor at the Lietuvos Valstybinė konservatorija (LDC) in the course instructor Irena Vaišytė and 2005, the Master of Director at Jonas Vaitkus . From 1986 to 1989 he taught at LVK and from 2003 at Lietuvos muzikos ir teatro akademija (LMTA). Since 2009 he has been head of the chair for acting and directing at the faculty for theater and cinema at LMTA.

While studying, he founded the acoustic music band "Užsitęsusios vaikystės ruduo". From 1987 to 1988 he organized and directed the Vilnius Sports Palace and Kaunas Sports Hall . Then he played in the Drama Theater Marijampolė . In 1989 he was a co-founder of Keistuolių teatras . He has acted or directed more than 40 plays and has participated in 6 TV films. In 2002 he was the author of two plays in Elmshorn at the “ Ditchenbühne ” theater and in 2004 at the Klaipėda Drama Theater . In 2006 he founded the theater laboratory "Atviras ratas" in Vilnius .
