Aidas Labuckas
Aidas Labuckas (born November 10, 1968 in Utena , † between March and May 2013 in Jonava ) was a Lithuanian chess player .
Life
Aidas Labuckas grew up in Jonava.
He was a member of the chess club " Margiris " in Kaunas , with which he participated twice in the European Club Cup . From 1997 he carried the title of International Master . His highest rating was 2435 in January 1997. He won the Lithuanian rapid chess championship twice and the Lithuanian blitz championship once . For the Lithuanian national team he played on the second reserve board at the 2000 Chess Olympiad in Istanbul . He played in Latvia, Belarus and Sweden.
In March 2013, Labuckas disappeared and was wanted. His body was found in the Neris in May 2013 .
